What is Interact Club?
Interact Club is Rotary International’s service organization for youth ages 12 to 18. This club is devoted to promoting philanthropy through volunteerism and fundraising for charitable causes. Over the years, our club has led a variety of initiatives, such as 5 Days of Holidays, Valentine's Day Origami Roses, Rebel Nations, and a lineup of food sales including Sushi, Kimbap, Onigiri, and Grilled Cheese. These events have helped support school programs, local community efforts, and global organizations alike.
None of this would be possible without the incredible support of Janice Froese (President of Burnaby Deer Lake Rotary ), Rotarian Glynden Cross, and our dedicated sponsor teacher, Kenneth Kwan.

The Sound of Hope Bali Project.
Interact supports the Sound of Hope Bali Project which began when an audiology business visited Bali in Indonesia. The business noticed many children who had a hard time hearing or were deaf. Hence, the Sound of Hope Bali Project was created to provide resources and clinical treatment to aid the hearing impaired community.
